They are all VERY good and have some strong points functionally. I just haven't gotten around to a full review of it. I have far less time on the AmpKit but that isn't a statement against them. I've also been using Amplitube Fender pack and Agile Partners AmpKit. The LiNK is kinda noisy but it was a cheap line in/out unit while I wait for the release of Alesis' AmpDock. I use JamUp through the effects return of my JC120 via an AmpKit LiNK. This comes directly from agile.īeta tested the new JamUp Pro XT. I upgraded from the free version and have all the available products, and it is the exact product you would get if you outright buy the paid version and upgrade from there. And don't Beleive the rumor that the free version sounds less than the upgrade. I suggest people to get the free app first for both ampkit and amplitube and see what they like best. But the jam is 100 bucks, and the ampkit link is much less. And again, this may be my particular equipment just does not sound as good with the jam. I tried with the apogee jam, but it does not sound as good to me. I was playing thru my blues jr, G dec 3, and now small monitors, which for me, the monitors have the clearest sound.

I don't like thru my headphones, but I think that is my issues, not the app. You were always able to place pre and post amp, but this adds a little more possibilities to make others sounds. And even the ability to place effects after the cabinet.

#Ampkit demo update
So many options and the last update added more cabs and amps. For me, it is the best effects app on the market that I know of.
